A series of sessions held by multiple speakers on different topicscompromising of Virtual Reality, haptic technology, big data, cloud computing,industrial revolution and quantum computing which would boost the technicalknowledge of the participants attending the session.Some of the topics that will be covered in the mentioned.

SENTEC, continuing its legacy, provided a platform for the exhibition of projects and showcase of extra ordinary engineering skills by organizing its annual Mega Project Exhibition and Robotics Competition.The main purpose of the event was to reveal the hidden talent of our youth to boost their scientific talents and provided its participants and audience with the opportunity to benefit from the inventive engineering based projects and innovative ideas that were displayed during the event.The competitions included Projects Exhibition, Robowar, National Aerial vehicle competition, Robohaste, Roborush, Circuit designing, Speed programming, Gaming, Quiz, Gesture Controlled Bot, Idea Presentation and Treasure Hunt.

SENTEC has always provided platform for students from all across the country to showcase their innovative projects and hence enabled them to portray their engineering skills that they have developed during their academics. The chief guest Dr. Amir Iqbal, Chairman Industrial and Manufacturing Engg. department along with honorable guest Syed Ghazanfar Hussain , Registrar NEDUET inaugurated the exhibition. The project exhibition acted as a bridge between academia and industry and attracted students from not only NEDUET but GIK, SSUET, UIT, Dawood, DHA Suffa, PAF-KIET, Iqra, Mehran, Hamdard and Karachi University to exhibit their creative ideas. Also, the society made its mark by introducing robotics on a larger scale at NED by organizing Robo war, Robo soccer, Robo haste, Robo rush and National Aerial Vehicle Competition.

In 2017, SENTEC held an instructive visit to KANUPP- The Karachi Nuclear Power Plant. This visit was highly informative and provided exposure to students regarding the functioning of different operations being held in the facility. Through the guidance provided by the professionals working in Pakistan’s first nuclear power plant, the students were able to attain an incomparable insight into the professional world.
